so yeah.
I finally sent out my novel for scholastics...finally! It feels so liberating to get that thing off my mind.
Anyway.
I went to little five points yesterday with my friend...it was kind of annoying 'cause there were a bunch of people asking for money. And they get all up in your face and stuff, so you just have to be like, "sorry, I can't." and move on. And THEN, oh, my, God. There were these two guys sitting on the edge of the sidewalk and when we passed by, they were like, "hey, can we get a picture of you gals?" and they were all pervy-smiling and crap. UGH. GROSS. -_- The things us girls have to go through these days. You don't see GUYS getting asked that kind of crap, unless it's at an anime convention, the guy is dressed up as some japanese rockstar, and it's a bunch of fangirls asking the question (yes, I was once one of those fangirls). Oh, and then we went downtown for an hour or two... we went to the CNN Center so I could buy jelly bean bubble gum, and when we were leaving this OLD guy was like, "hey, babe" to me. WTF. -___- I shudder at the thought.
Anyway.
I bought a dress at Rag-o-Rama. It's bergundy, with white pinstripes, and cute little buttons. I was going to get a pair of little brown boots but the soles were effed up, so it wasn't worth the money.
well.
I'm going to my grandma's house today. YAY.
I need a little bit of refuge. It's hard to explain. Don't you ever just feel like not being around a bunch of people? Well, that's how I feel. And at my grandma's, it's just me, my sisters, and her. No commotion, like here.
