So, today I went to the zoo. It was fun, yup. Some of the animals were kind of gross, though. Orangutans, especially. Well, they're not gross...it's just that they're so...I dunno...creepy. Haha. I don't know why, but I just really think they're creeeeeeepy. But the pandas were sooo cute. The baby was napping up in its little tree. Awwww! For some reason, I really loved the snakes this time. They were awesome and dangerous-looking. I love that right when we passed the Black Mamba, it opened its mouth to show us its deathly fangs. Haha.
I went shopping yesterday and I got REALLY frustrated at H&M. Their pants are so cute, right? They have cute colored pants, and the best skinny jeans (actually, I can't think of any other place to buy them..). HOWEVER, their pants always fit me awkwardly. They will either have a really tight waist and loose legs, or a slightly loose waist with suffocating legs. *sigh* But anyway. I found myself having to buy all large sizes, and when I found this dress on clearance at Forever 21 that I ABSOLUTELY HAD TO HAVE - it was sooooo adorable and only 10 bucks - BUT they only had it in medium, which didn't fit me. AND THEN, when I was trying clothes on at H&M, they had different-angle mirrors in the dressing room so you could see yourself from different ways, and I looked all weird and short/squashy from one of them. So I have declared a new weight loss regimen. I've set a daily calorie limit (1400) and exercise set (20 mins. on the treadmill, 25 sit-ups, and 10 push-ups), as well as started a food diary. I should be at 125 pounds by August, hopefully. I want to be in great, cover-of-Self-magazine-worthy shape when school starts. I am just SO tired of not fitting into cute things, feeling self-conscious/ashamed, and having a double-chin. I'm not even doing this for social reasons anymore. This is about ME, and not feeling trapped anymore.
Well, it felt good to get that out of the way.
Anyway, I'm getting a haircut sometime in early July, just in time for my senior portrait.
Speaking of haircuts...has anyone seen Kristen Stewart's (Bella, Twilight...?) new mullet?
Alot of people are bashing it, but I think it looks absolutely rockin'. Love it. I remember when I used to get mullet-y haircuts...well, actually, they were like backwards mullets? "fashion" mullets? in freshman year. Whoo. Wish I still had the patience. It takes A LOT of upkeep. I remember I had to straighten it like every day, tease it, hairspray it, AND check on it during school to make sure it hadn't flattened out. I even carried a bottle of hairspray with me in my purse. HAHAHA. Good times.
P.S. Any haircut recommendations? I want something "edgy" but that will flatter my face shape.
