School is approaching sooner than I feel comfortable with, especially with the load of homework I still have to do. I still have 40-ish pages of Wuthering Heights left (plus I have to watch the movie), 150-ish pages of Mythology, like...200 pages of the psychology book (which I managed to lose! fail!), and half of Genesis, all of Exodus, and all of Matthew. Oh, and 2 more AP art paintings. FML. Really.
It's as if those teachers either
A) think we have nothing better to do all summer
or
B) want to punish us for loading them with late-night hours spent grading papers and tests all year
I spent the day reading, though.
Got 55 pages of mythology done in one sitting. Woot. Tedious stuff. But I got it done.
ANYWAY.
I can't wait 'til Friday. It's my friend's birthday shindig and the festivities include doing henna! Woo! I've always wanted to do henna.
AND TUESDAY MY BELOVED AUNT MARTA IS COMING TO THE U.S. OF A!!!!!!!!!!!
You see, she happens to be my favorite aunt in the universe. She is honestly THE BEST. I can NOT wait to go to the airport with the rest of the fam to pick her up. I'm even going to bake her a cake. I'm currently trying to decide whether it will be green tea layer cake (dee-lish. sounds gross, but it's really not. I mean, I don't even like tea, but I love this cake.) OR snickerdoodle cake with butter cream icing. Hm. Decisions, decisions.
P.S. Today I broke the 100-page mark with my movie script! YAY, MILESTONE! I'm about to start looking for agents. So, so, so exciting. If anyone knows any good literary agents, please don't hesitate to tell me about them.
