So DJ Tiesto is in town on Saturday, but I can't go.
- have to be 18
- it's from 9 PM - 4 AM
- it's 40 bucks to get in
IT SUCKSSS! Tiesto is supah krazy. And cute-ish.
Maybe next year.
Besides, I have plans for Saturday.
YAY :)
ANYWAY.
I have a ton of stuff going on as far as writing goes.
I'm submitting "Liberation" to Reflections. Hate to toot my own horn, but I'm pretty confident I'll make it at least to school-wide level.
Then I'm submitting a writing portfolio to Scholastics.
And I'm still putting together my short story collection en route for self-publishing a book.
Last night I was creeped out, because I found this necklace in my mom's jewelry case that had like an imprint of this Victorian lady's face, and I was trying it on and made up this whole back story for the necklace, that it had a curse and stuff. Like, whoever wore it "caught" the curse. So the whole night after that I was CREEPED OUT. I slept with the night-lights on, for goodness' sake. Well, I'm over it now, seeing that no ghost of Elizabeth Bathory has come after me yet. But it has given me an idea for a new short story.
WELL, toodles.
