Today marks the 1st day of me being a senior.
The beginning of the rest of my life. *horror movie music goes here*
It was a sad day, actually.
My friend Susie is moving to Puerto Rico in a few weeks and she didn't come to school, so I didn't get to give her a proper goodbye. :( A ton of my friends are going to John's Creek HS next year, so it was my last day seeing THEM, too. And one of my fave teachers, Ms. Munson, will not be teaching at CHS next year, so it was my last day seeing her too. :( :( :( Oh, but I do get to volunteer with her at the Spruill art center later this summer, so I guess it's not totally the end.
On a less ... sad ... note, summer reading. I guess that's more of a tedious note than sad. Haha. I have to read Wuthering Heights, Hamilton's Mythology, and some parts of the Bible (Genesis, Exodus (I think), and Matthew) for AP Lit. It's so much easier this year! Last year's summer reading for AP Lang was Frankenstein, Life of Pi, The Poisonwood Bible, and Beloved. That's like ... 5,000 pages altogether. HAHA. Plus, Beloved was the most tedious (I really like that word today) book I've read in FOREVER. Even Saturday was better than that. O__O And then, for AP Psych, we have to read Social Intelligence, by Daniel (or David? I don't remember) Goleman. It seems interesting enough.
OH, AND I CAN'T FORGET ABOUT AMERICAN IDOL.
I AM .... BEYOND UPSET ABOUT ADAM LAMBERT LOSING.
Kris Allen is a good singer and all, but Adam is so much more interesting and talented than him. Honestly.
Anyway, I might try out for season 9. HAHA. Just for fun. Who knows, I might be the next Allison Iraheta. People kept saying I reminded them of her. *chuckle*
