So today we had to do the whole nominate-people-for-senior-superlatives thing during homeroom, and it SUCKED.
I'm all for NOT being popular/cool/hip/fresh, but seriously...give other people a chance.
ANYWAY.
If any of my homeroom people are reading this, sorrryyyy but it's time you guys (guys, not girls) stopped being so crappy. Sheesh.
ENOUGH RANTING.
Moving on.
In lit. we have to read a book for "independent reading" and I have chosen, duh duh duh...
NINETEEN EIGHTY-FOUR by GEORGE ORWELL himself.
I read Animal Farm back in nineth grade and it was fairly interesting. I'm expecting better from 1984 as it's all pop-culture-iconic-y and stuff. Good to know.
I checked it out at the library today and read the first sentence.
"It was a bright cold day in April, and the clocks were striking thirteen."
Intriguing, yes?
Big Bro is watching.
WELL, goodbye!
