Wah, I still haven't gotten over the fact that I won't ever time-travel or have a grand adventure through the desert, or see the depths of space. WAH WAH WAH! Why is life so REAL sometimes? I HATE REALITY. I WANT SURREALITY.
I just wish it would open up like a storybook, and I could jump in.
Or maybe it could happen like in Labyrinth, where the world around her just turns into a fairytale, just like that. Ugh, no wonder so many authors write fantasies. And what about these guys that compose musicals?? Cats, Phantom of the Opera... all wonderful tales that will never happen in real life.
Anyway, today at school these cops from all over the city came to preach to us about the dangers of drunk driving. The whole time, I was just thinking about how people will drink and drive anyway, just because it's convenient. Every year, we sit through listening to these officers and people who have gone through the experience, and we wear the drunk goggles, play all the little simulations, see the evidence, and still, people continue to do it. Maybe some people my age just lack the common sense to care.
