So, I am reserving a certain amount of money from my $avings account for a specific purpose:
investing in good-quality makeup.
Well, what I'm planning on doing, really, is ca$hing out on the products that are really important (foundation, primer, powder, FACIAL products basically) and being more frugal on the lesser things like eyeshadow, etc. It also helps that the only eyeliner I will use is NYC classic liner, which is only a dollar, so no splurging required there.
NOW for the FUN FUN FUN part!

♥ I will create a wish list/shopping list of what I am considering buying! ♥

Urban Decay De-Slick Makeup Setting Spray
$28.00
So, supposedly you spray this stuff on after putting your makeup on and it keeps you from looking shiny all day. Which would be ahmazing for me, because gross as it may seem, I have a supah oily complexion. (But you know what that means - no wrinkles and crow's eyes when I'm old)
Urban Decay De-Slick Mattifying Powder
$30.00

This would be inspired by a look from Lady Gaga's Telephone video (when she's "making a sandwich"). I think it's a gorgeous color. But I'm debating whether splurging on MAC ($14.50 for .05 oz) or saving on H.I.P. ($7.99 for .08 oz) Not to mention I wouldn't be wearing it that often, since I usually wear a more "natural" look anyway.
$6.00-$14.00
Gotta keep those brushes looking/working nice! ♥
And then probably a foundation from MAC or Make Up For Ever and a set of brushes. And then I'd hit up Wal-Mart for the cheapie stuff like my fave NYC eyeliner sticks :)
UGH I just wish it wasn't all so expensive! It's just makeup....
ANYWAY
I don't know why but I've just recently become obsessed with makeup. I've begun drawing my eyebrows on, fully foundation-ing my face, actually using concealer, experimenting with actual colors on my eyelids instead of just the usual swipe-n-go eyeliner + mascara combo. It's funn! Probably because I've been watching Youtube tutorials. FUN FUN FUN FUN FUN!
Oh, and bee-tee-dubs. I get hooked up with freebie brand-name makeup sometimes via a friend, and I've been using YSL mascara for the past few months. I have got to say, that stuff is AMAZINGGGG!
A) It's SCENTED like YSL perfume.
B) It actually works, noticeably.
C) It doesn't clump.
D) It comes in a pretty package!
Now I'm crossing my fingers that my friend will somehow be able to attain DiorShow mascara.
That stuff is LEGENDARY.
