So I have officially been a college student for ... well, I'm on my third day.
My classes have been alright....I seem to be a pretty ~advanced~ freshman though - most of my classes (critical thinking, survey of us history, human communications, intro to philosophy, film history) are made up of upperclassmen. Oh well! And film history is going to be a b!tch, seriously. We have to watch a movie every week and write an IN-CLASS FREAKING ESSAY about it, NO NOTES. WTFFFFF. And they aren't even fun movies, they're CLASSIC ones from like the stone age (pre-1970) OH MY GOD...NO. I already hate classic movies, now I'm going to have to suffer through them and write ESSAYS. WAH.
Also, in my human comm. class there's a guy who is the embodiment of everything sexy. *Usher voice:* OH, MYYY, GOD.
This guy:
- smells like smoke (I'm weird, I know, but I find it irresistible)
- has messy hair
- has snake bites (and no, he is not gay. at least, my gaydar was not going off)
- is a ~photographer~ ooooh, aaahhh
AND, he sat right next to me on Monday and smiled flirtatiously. Oh, la la. ;) I have class again with him today, boo ya.
I'm finding it hard to talk to people though, waaahhh. Everyone seems so much older and wiser, I don't want to feel like a nub compared to them. But I'll just have to suck it up and deal with it.
Anyway, college is ~*awesome*~ so far. It feels like I'm on vacation (I've been going to the pool at the rec center every day, which also has a sauna, whirlypool, and hot tub).
Life is good!
