be who you want to be, b-a-r-b-i-e

That jingle is so self-contradictory. It plainly says: be barbie.
WELL I'LL TELL YOU SOMETHING/

Anyway,

I'm already so over winter break.

I think I'm too negative on this blog. Well, sorry, I don't mean to be Negative Nancy. I just enjoy ranting.

Anyway, here's something neutral:
I want to start a DVD collection.
- Lost in Translation
- Babel
- 10 Things I Hate About You
- No Country for Old men
- Pocahontas
- Pocahontas 2
- The Other Sister
- The Dog Problem
- Juno
- Carrie
- The Shining
- Garden State
- MAYBE 500 Days of Summer if I ever come to the conclusion of if I really like it or not.
I dunno, those are just the movies I want to start with. I love movies, I think I've stated that before. Film is just such a great media. It's like photography to another level. You can say one thing with a picture, but with a movie you can say a whole ... lecture! My mom's like, DVDs are a waste of money. Once you see a movie once, you don't need to see it again. I beg to differ. There's something about a good movie that keeps you hooked. I've seen 10 Things I Hate About You over 20 times and I can still re-watch it happily. I mean, it's not the most dramatic, beautiful movie in the world and it didn't win any Oscars, but it's just so clever! It's refreshing! HAH! Anyway. There are still so many movies I need to see. I know there are a ton of mid-twentieth century movies that are supposedly the BEST, like Psycho and Godfather and whatnot, but there's something about old movies that repels me. Eh.

ciao;
